Meet Ana Pacheco, PT: Bringing a Passion for Movement and Patient Care to Wray
September 3, 2026

Wray Physical Therapy is excited to welcome Ana Pacheco, PT, to the team. A Colorado native with a passion for helping people move, recover and get back to doing the things they love, Ana is looking forward to beginning her career as a physical therapist right here in Wray.

Ana grew up primarily in Sterling, Colorado, after living in several small towns across the state. Her interest in physical therapy began close to home. During her freshman year of high school, her dad underwent a total knee replacement, giving Ana her first introduction to physical therapy. A few years later, her mom had low back surgery, further solidifying her interest in pursuing the profession.

She began her education at Northeastern Junior College, where she earned her associate degree, before continuing to Regis University for both her bachelor’s degree and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.

As a lifelong soccer player, Ana has a particular interest in sports physical therapy and enjoys working with high school and young adult athletes. She also enjoys helping patients recover following surgery.

For Ana, one of the most rewarding parts of physical therapy is seeing patients leave a session feeling better than when they arrived.

“My goal is to have them leave better than they came in,” Ana said. “That shows that I made a difference, they put in the work, and what we are doing is having a positive change.”

Her treatment approach focuses heavily on movement and exercise, including strength and aerobic training. Ana is also trained in dry needling, which can be used to address stubborn trigger points and help increase blood flow.

Ana is already familiar with Wray and the Physical Therapy team. She completed her third clinical rotation in Wray from October through December and says the experience played a major role in her decision to return.

“I absolutely loved it,” she said. “Everyone here is so nice and welcoming. I also love the homey feeling of this small town.”

One thing Ana hopes patients understand is that physical therapy is a process that extends beyond appointments. Consistently completing prescribed exercises at home is an important part of building strength, making progress and reaching long-term goals.

Outside of work, Ana stays just as active. She enjoys soccer, hiking, fishing, four-wheeling, swimming, softball, running and working out. She also loves reading, baking, playing pool, spending time with friends and family, and traveling. Her adventures have already taken her to Haiti, Mexico, Germany, Austria and Switzerland, with Australia, Canada and Dubai still on her wish list.

As she begins her career at Wray Physical Therapy, Ana is especially excited to grow into her role, develop relationships with her patients and coworkers, and become part of the Wray community.

“I can’t wait to meet more people, listen to their stories, and make long-lasting relationships,” she said.

Please join us in welcoming Ana Pacheco, PT, to Wray Physical Therapy and Wray Community District Hospital!
